The dogs of Lombok are particularly close to my heart because I lived on Lombok myself for several years and saw and experienced first-hand the suffering of many stray dogs there. 
My dog, Ela, is also from Lombok, and thanks to her, I’ve been able to experience even more closely how wonderful, loving, and incredibly intelligent these dogs are.
I would love to take every single dog home with me, but since that’s unfortunately not possible, I’m involved with Lomdogs Europe. I want to help finally improve the situation for street dogs in a sustainable way and do my small part to ensure a better future for them.
