The dogs of Lombok are particularly close to my heart because I lived on Lombok myself for several years and saw and experienced first-hand the suffering of many stray dogs there. My dog, Ela, is also from Lombok, and thanks to her I’ve been able to experience even more deeply just what wonderful, loving and incredibly intelligent animals these dogs are.
I’d love to take every single dog home with me, but as that’s unfortunately not possible, instead I’m involved with Lomdogs Europe. I want to help sustainably improve the situation for street dogs and make my own small contribution towards a better future for them.
