For as long as I can remember, animals have held a special place in my heart. I can’t walk past a cat without holding out my hand for it to sniff, I’ve covered all my electronic devices with pigeon stickers, and I’m almost always crying over a cute Instagram Reel.
In early 2026, I visited Indonesia myself and realised how poor the conditions are for some animals there. But at the same time, I noticed how there are so many people who want to help.
Unfortunately, right now it’s impossible for me, neither work wise nor financially, to have a dog or a cat, which is why I look for ways to connect with animals elsewhere.
Lomdogs Europe is already the third animal welfare organization I volunteer with on social media. It fills my heart with so much love.
