Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up with our Golden Retriever, Chester, I’ve probably always liked animals just as much as people. If not, maybe even more 😉
I realized just how important animal welfare would become to me in 2023 during my 8-month trip through Asia. Stray dogs were part of my everyday life there. Sometimes I fed them, sometimes I took them to the vet, and sometimes I ended up with much more responsibility than planned.
And then Karli happened. Helping turned into responsibility, and a little stray dog in Indonesia became my whole world, coming with me to Germany in the end. Karli showed me that you don’t have to save the whole world to change the world for one.
Besides, I love being on the go, I’m spontaneous, sociable, and up for almost any kind of fun – specially when it comes to cuddling dogs, helping animals in need, or stepping in when help is needed.
